This fishing festival takes place along the Shawinigan River and St. Maurice River. Kiosks are set up allowing participants to register and store their catches. Various restaurants join in the fun preparing the trout caught for taste-testing.

For one weekend each August since 1967, the streets of Trois-Rivieres turn into a racing circuit for the city's Grand Prix. Some of the series presented are CASCAR, Formula Ford, Formula 1600, Formula Atlantic, Grand Am and Star Mazda. There is also entertainment downtown and fireworks.
