Ste-Sauveur at a Glance
Ste-Sauveur may have only
achieved city status in 2002 but for decades it's been known to those in the area
as a place for fun, adventure and relaxation. Located less than 80 km (50 mi)
north of Montreal, this quiet,
little city draws a big crowd of vacationing Montrealers, golf enthusiasts and
anyone who loves to ski or snowboard. Mount-Sauveur, easily one of the biggest
attractions in the Montreal area, sits overlooking the charming streets of Ste-Sauveur.
This premiere ski hill and resort promises world-class night skiing and more than
140 days of operation. Although the city and hill have become synonymous with
winter sports, Ste-Sauveur under the sun can be just as enticing. When summer
rolls around, guests can explore the picturesque city, bustling with boutiques,
restaurants
and bars, then cool off at Park
Aquatique, play a round at Piedmont
and retire for the evening at Morin
Heights, Mount-Sauveur's own campsite and cabins.
