The Festival Western continues to grow and attract attention, bringing nearly half a million people to this small town just outside of Quebec City and making the event Canada's second largest rodeo. The rodeo features top cowboys and cowgirls performing in bareback, bull and saddle bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling, calf roping and barrel racing, as well as gymkhana events. Stage shows, country dancing and equestrian activities are also part of the festival.
